It was originally inspired by the beautiful Aloe Vera and her fresh colors... but I got caried a bit away from the theme... oh well, I like it anyways.

The pose was a bit difficult, so I used a few reference photos of myself. Completely done in Photoshop CS3 with my Wacom Intuos 4.

A beautiful glint of goldfish, burning like fire in the deep of the sea.

I wanted to get a dreamy-magic-fantasy mood with these glowing goldfish and a lot of contrast between the colors blue and orange.

It's the popular Yin & Yang - concept. I tried to paint them similiar but also exactly the opposite, with a bit symbolism and a lot of beauty.
And of course inspired by Linda Bergkvist, especially her piece Ladies of London.
